Inspired by traditional Korean homes, our Hanok Lantern Kit invites you to cut, stamp, and build a small clay lantern that really lights up! A wooden lattice window and hanji paper bring texture and detail to your creation, while the included battery-operated candlelight adds a gentle glow.

A quiet afternoon project, a thoughtful handmade gift, or a small piece of Korean heritage to keep close.

Your kit includes:

clay cutters/stamps
a wooden lattice window
Hanji paper for window
1 battery-operated candlelight
superglue for creating windows
Instruction card

You can also make your lantern with ceramic clay. Allow for your clay’s shrinkage when sizing the window opening and fitting the wooden lattice. Complete all firing before attaching the wooden lattice, hanji paper, or other non-clay components.

**Note: Air dry clay is not included. For battery-operated lighting only. Never use real candles or open flames inside the lantern. You’ll need air-dry clay (approx. 4-5lbs), a hot glue gun, and a rolling pin or suitable clay-rolling tool.
